help hen in trouble *picture attached*

so yesterday I seen this hanging out of my chicken. it isn't the end of her vent from what I can tell because I cleaned it off and there doesn't seem to be a opening. and there doesn't seem anyway possible to put it back in her. it almost looks like a big worm trying to go up it. is this prolapse? how come I cant clean the end and have her empty out the poo and push it back up her?

Does it seem attached to her vent? Prolapse is what it might be, just very odd looking.

it is coming out of the vent. if I pull very gently I see some red not blood but possibly the insides of her? it's so weird =(

The only thing you can do is to push it gently back inside her hoping it will stay in.

If nothing else works put he on her back and sprinkle several table spoonsful of granulated white table sugar over the affected part. This may hopefully shrink it allowing it to return to its proper place.

i have never heard this before, have you done it?

you can go to the advanced search at the top of your page and type in prolapse and see what you find there. i know a lot of people have had this problem
