Help!!!! Hen limping

Has she molted this fall? How old is she? How long since she was laying? It is good that she ate for you.Moistening a small amount of feed can insure that she is getting some fluids.

She hasn’t molted yet but I’m sure she’ll start soon as they alsways do in fall/winter. She’s turning 3 in March. I have 2 plymouths and the one is molting and hasn’t layed any eggs but I had the one limping out today and I realized she acually layed an egg. If it’s hers I would say she layed today. Maybe she just wasn’t comfortable in the cage. She loves Mash when it’s cold out and I put warm water in the feed. I’ll try some mash tomorrow. I have some cantaloupe too, would that help her hydrate?

Update: she is still sprightly limping. You know when they groom themselves really fast, we’ll she did that to her legs a couple seconds. I’ve never seen that. Does it mean anything? This weekend I’m going to fo another epson bath and brush her scales and apply Vaseline. The rest of the flock is gonna have a brushing as well with soap and water and also some Vaseline
