She hasn’t molted yet but I’m sure she’ll start soon as they alsways do in fall/winter. She’s turning 3 in March. I have 2 plymouths and the one is molting and hasn’t layed any eggs but I had the one limping out today and I realized she acually layed an egg. If it’s hers I would say she layed today. Maybe she just wasn’t comfortable in the cage. She loves Mash when it’s cold out and I put warm water in the feed. I’ll try some mash tomorrow. I have some cantaloupe too, would that help her hydrate?Has she molted this fall? How old is she? How long since she was laying? After a while of her limping I finally got the time to brush her feet and legs with soapy water and applied Vaseline and the next day she was walking fine and is eating and drinking and her crop is much fuller now. So far no other problems. I still have no idea what was wrongHow is she doing now?
