HELP HEN WITH A GASH UNDER WING WHAT SHOULD I DO

One of my hens has a bad gash about 4 inches long and 3 inches wide at the most. We ordered a hen apron but want to clean out the wound before we put it on. We used blue kote but she is still open and have tried Neosporin and Hydrin peroxide to keep it from being infected. It looks bad and infected still Help plz

How many roosters do you have, aprons are not "all that".
Rinse it with warm water and pick up some Veterycin spray...spray it a few times a day.
Can you possible bring her in doors until it heals so flies do not lay eggs inside it?
Can you post a few pictures?

Maybe inside I think it was from an old rooster we had four and four hen then gave the roo to a roo farm and now have a new one with more hens 14 hens and 1 roo and I will try for pics

ONE rooster with 14 hens is good.
Any more then ONE is not good.
