Help! Hens eating their eggs!

Hi I have 5 laying hens. I have had them for two years with no problem. Now this year they are breaking and eating their eggs. They are not eating the shell, just the insides. If I do not get to the coop right as they lay them, they will be broken. I tried changing food because I thought maybe they were not getting enough protein, but that is not working. I am not sure if it’s just one of them or all of them. I would love your feedback!

It's a hard habit to break once it starts. Sometimes putting curtains on the nest box to darken it helps. Also try putting ceramic nest eggs in the nest boxes.

Roll away nest boxes would be another option, as they put the eggs out of reach.
