Help - Hens not Laying and Losing Feathers

We live in the California Bay Area. 1 week ago 1 of our three hens was killed by a hawk. Since then, our other two have not layed any eggs -- previously they'd been laying 1 every other day. Also, our Rhode Island Red is losing feathers all over. Does anyone know whether these problems are likely a byproduct of the hawk attack? Could the problems be from quite cold weather here recently? Thank you for any opinions!

How old are they? They could be molting, when they molt they will stop laying.

It could be stress/depression related. If I even change something small like the paint on the coop theyll go through a revolt non laying period so losing one of their friends could be the reason. Did you comb over your other hens to be sure they have no injuries?

They could also be just taking a break. If they are still eating and acting normal aside from not laying they might just need a break they'll resume in a bit
