You never cease to amaze me. That makes my head hurt. A hot mess is what I'd call that pen. A literal box of chocolates.Black (single gene) barred cockerels split to chocolate Xs Mauve hens.....

Ok, but I have chicks with this coloration… what color do you think they will be? They seem very light to be blue… @ColtHandorfView attachment 3220128
All visually blue and black. All males will be split to Chocolate. Meaning the males will carry a gene for chocolate. If you breed one of the males to the chocolate hen they will throw chocolate chicks.
