Back then a dime was a lot of money to us kids. Not many of us had a dime to waste on a mouse skin.More likely the purchase would be found when going through pants pockets before doing the laundry.
I'm still trying to imagine skinning a mouse. I'd have probably charged 2 dimes.Back then a dime was a lot of money to us kids. Not many of us had a dime to waste on a mouse skin.
It's a whole lot easier with kid sized hands.I'm still trying to imagine skinning a mouse. I'd have probably charged 2 dimes.

Dry them out and make cricket flour!Mine are indoor kitties (busy road, foxes, coyotes and FIV in the neighborhood) so we - thankfully - don't get many mice inside. We do, however provide a haven for waaaaay too many crickets in my 100 year old basement. If only we could figure out a way to skin them, we could be rich, too!
He is Groot!
I used to work in a comic book store. I was even in their television commercials.DC Comics/Marvel.
Yup - and you count yourself VERY lucky if all you find is rocks and hardware!Country mothers know better than to stick their hands in the pockets of male children. The smart ones empty the pockets outside on the ground.
