Help! I bought duck eggs but think this is a chicken!?!

so about a month ago I bought what i was told was a dozen welsh harlequin duck eggs from a little old farmer down the road. He even showed me his flock of ducks the eggs came from. I still have 2 days until lockdown, but noticed one pipped last night and hatched today. And this is my first experience hatching anything, but I’m pretty sure a chicken just hatched out of my duck egg. so now what? Can I keep him with the ducks in the brooder after they hatch? I’ve done nothing but research how to take care of the ducks and have no clue about baby chickens, and now he’s here. The little old man must have mixed up his duck and chicken eggs, and I think I may have a combo. This is a chicken right?

It is highly likely a hen went into the duck house, where the ducks lay their eggs and laid an egg.

I don't think you can keep ducklings and chicks together... I'm not sure...

I've raised ducklings with chicks. Everybody was just fine. Keeping the brooder dry for the chicks was a bit challenging.

I live in a tiny town with lots of little old farmers. I think he probably just mixed them up. He had chickens and ducks running everywhere.
