We had the chicks out in the backyard while I was working on cleaning out the shed. The dogs got out of the house and one of the chicks got chased under the shed (there's a hole there that the dog has been excavating). She's not in any immediate danger but she also doesn't seem inclined to come out. We've been trying to tame her, but she's she's still hand shy. What do I do????

Move the dogs away and place other chickens in a cage in front of the hole. Works every time :)

Just to update. I finally had to let the dogs out of the house so they could take care of business. The one dog excavated and brought the chicken in unharmed. I always knew she had a soft mouth, but I still don't think the chick was so impressed.
