Help I Cracked an egg!

I was candling an egg and it slipped from my hands. it fell only a couple of inches but it cracked the egg. The membrane is still intact. Will this chick make it?

I did this on my last hatch. I used scotch tape over the hole, but others use candle wax or similar. My chick needed help to get out, but developed just fine!

I've done this a few times. As long as the membrane isn't broken, I reseal the hole with melted wax, and the eggs do just fine.

Yep, I did the same ^. Just used unscented candlewax to cover it up. Worked like a charm. And the little guy continued to develop.

I broke the shell AND membrane on day 19. I melted unscented candle wax and spread over the hole and down the sides and helped him out day 21. He's 6 months old now. Good Luck!!

well the little one hatched. I am so lucky. and it was cracked the day before lock down. so i didnt melt a candle. but if i do that the next time trust me i will have candles on hand the next hatch. thank you all so much for the info.
