Help I Don't know what to do and I need some help

Should I start my chicks on medicated feed for cocci prevention? I heard the deep or layered litter method is good against cocci because it actually breed good bacteria that feed on or kill cocci. The only problem is I'm just starting out, so the litter is 100% fresh.

I did feed mine medicated. I don't know about the deep litter part maybe someone will chime in on that.

If it's your first batch I'd start with medicated feed until you know a little more what your doing. Medicated feed should not be necessary if you raise the chicks in good conditions but when you don't know exactly what they need and what the signs might be for illness it's better to be safe.

I have not vaccinated any of mine because the risk is fairly low for them. Whether you vaccinate would depend on how likely your chickens are to come in contact with various diseases. Part of that just depends on your area and how common the disease is there. You would be best off asking a local vet for that info. A 2nd major part would be how many other chickens they will come in contact with. If they are going to someone elses house and then hauled to yours it might be more important than if they were being shipped directly to you especially if you don't know the health of that person's flock or if there chickens are commonly exposed to others. If the chickens are shown then they definitely come in contact with lots of other birds.

I'd Just clean the litter more often, and you should be fine.
But I'm no Expert!
