Help! I dont know what to do....

I think it may have been a "packing peanut" but all the same Packing peanut or not I dont want to just give up on it. I ordered three of each for a total of 15 and got 6 extras all looking like this chick except they have no problems.

I just had a Phoenix hatched a few weeks ago like that, he made it a day, he kept flipping over backwards and ended up doing that while I was at work and died. Honestly, I don't think it will get better.

I first noticed it while they were in the box and some one bumped him and he flipped over and couldnt get up so I had to help him! I told my husband to watch him carefully!

It almost looks like it developed inside the shell in a contorted position and is now formed that way. How tragic. It must be heartbreaking for you to watch it trying to survive.
I'm so sorry.

After lots of TLC today he seems to be doing better! He still goes back to the "crooked neck" occasionally but he can straighten it better now!

Now we have this problem.....I assume it is what you all call "poopy but" so I wiped it clean and put evoo on it. Is that the right thing to do?

its Pasting, yes you want to keep poop off his bum, what i did, use a warm wet wash cloth and socked bum and them put Bag Balm on his bum to keep smooth, and it keeps the bum greasy so the poop slips off
i also put 1 part Corn meal to 1 part finely ground oats and 2 part chick feed i feed them that when it cleared up it took about 2 days, i continued i for 5 days after.

I don't know if you're still giving sugar water, but that can cause pasty butt.

I gave mine sugar water for the first week, (I should've only done it for 24hrs or so) and I kept struggling with pasty butt. Once I switched to plain water, they cleared up.

Cute little fuzzy butts! I hope the little one with the crooked neck does okay! Keep us posted.
