Help!!!! I dropped a piece of wood on my baby chicks foot, and I think I broke her foot!!

Hello! This is my second time posting the same thing because I was not getting enough information on my first one so I thought I would try again. Here's my problem: A few days ago, I dropped a piece of wood on my baby chicks foot, she screeched, and then moved on with normal behavior. Today, I noticed that she was standing on one foot and limping. I picked her up only to see this nasty bruise right on her foot (See pictures below). I REEAALLLY worried that I broke her foot and I really need some help! What should I do?

Looks mainly the toe nuckle which is cartilage, & will heal fast, within about 2 weeks.

You can ice it to get the swelling down, & numb the pain alittle?

As someone who has never dealt with this before and probably is incorrect, I'd ice it to bring down swelling and numb the pain, then figure out a way to splint it so it can heal. I'm probably not right about that though, so please listen to other people ahead of me.

I think it looks like a good ol' fashion bruise. Esp if she is walking on it already.
Accidents do happen with those little pullets under our feet wanting to help. Lol.
