Help I found four abandoned eggs problem with one

Help ther e are these evil boys that live near me and they find goose nests and destroy the eggs so I rescued four they missed because the mother was gone and they had ruined the nest and other eggs and they are all in my bator and developing but one smells funny and is stinking up the whole thing. It's developing. Should I trash, leave, or separate. Is it rotten?

If it stinks, it may not really be developing. It might be gas and bacteria expanding. Goose bombs are something awful.

Good for you for saving the eggs, I hope the rest do well. Poor mama bird.

What happens if an egg explodes? I candled it yesterday and today and there was a significant difference In the "embryo" it seemed to look just like the rest but smells. Should I trash it? I only have four I don't want to trash it if its not a must

If it does explode, it could get nasty bacteria all over the other eggs and put them at risk. Plus it will stink up your whole house.
You can keep in in a paper bag in a lid-less Tupperware container, just in case, and if it does go it will do less damage.
Would not keep it in a turner or something you'd have to thoroughly clean.
