My EE hen didn't lay today, but my barred rock hen did...
 
Could they be starting to molt? It's September 8 here...
 
Gosh golly its September 8th here too. I don't know how old your hens are if they are around 18 months or older it's possible. Are you seeing more than the normal amount of feathers floating around?

They are 6 months old, and there are more feathers than normal!
 
Any other reason why they are only laying every other day now?
 
They are new young layers They often will lay in fits and spurts when starting their careers
