HELP! I have a shrink-wrapped chick in my bra!

My last hatch I helped out two...they are both now healthy hens of 9 months old and lay beautiful eggs every day. I'm very glad that I took the time to help them out.

I like the names teats and titbits, she did say she didnt have very big tom toms

OK, so update time. Egg that was really cracked: I slept with it and it survived. I tried to peel some shell/membrane off it this morning but could see veins and it started to bleed a little, so I re-moistened the coffee sleeve, nestled it in a little flannel blankie and put it into a little box in the bator so that the OTHER chick wouldn't hurt it. By the other one, remember there were 2 eggs under the turkey mom, one that I for sure thought was dead as I did a float test and nothing. But for whatever reason, kept it in my bra with the cracked egg over night as well. No, I don't even know why I do things sometimes, but this time I'm glad I did, as now there's a sweet little chickie running around the bator. Cracked egg baby is still alive and peeping every so often, so I will try to help it again tomorrow morning if it's still around and not out.

Oh, and today is day 21, BTW. Thanks for the giggles and words of wisdom, and I'll update when there is new news.

YEAH ,

well ya know if they survive you can call them Odd and Even

I have to ask when they get older are you going to use the automatic Nipple waterer ?
They after all would be more used to them then most chicks . WINKS WTG
