The only true hornet in the US is the Brown European Hornet. That most likely is not what your seeing. Describe the bees or wasps that your seeing. They could be honey bees that are looking for a new home or they could be yellow jackets whose nest is being disturbed by the ducks. These are very different situations that could have very different outcomes. I understand you not wanting to go outside but describe the situation better. What do they look like and what are they doing exactly.

The insect I’m trying to show you is the one that looks like a bee or wasp or hornet not the other flys and that is a fly trap

Ok, I can’t tell for certain what that one is but doesn’t look like a yellow jacket, red wasp, guinea wasp or Africanized honey bee. Those are the only stinging bees I worry about. (That is unless you disturb a honey bee or bumble bee hive) It’s possible they may have a nest/hive close by. If you can observe them from a distance, you may be able to find where the they are going to locate the nest. If they are coming after you there is probably a nest very close.

Looks like a nasty stinging insect, that's for sure. I would agree with the above, find the hive. Unfortunately, you may have to destroy the hive to get rid of them. Burning it works for me. You could try to spray it with insect killer or even WD-40 (it works!).
