You should of opened your plugs on day 18 !! So do it now !! So they can get fresh air. Did you up the hum ??

What did you up the hum to ?? You dont have to check them, the chicks will be fine in the bator for a while !! I always wake up and check only b/c I cant sleep when I know they are piping/hatching (they take over your mind, LOL !!) You should try and wait in till they all hatch till you open the bator !!

They are fine, thats normal !!!! They pip........ Take a long break.......... peck, peck and peck......break........start to zip.......break, !! They could take up to 48 hours to fully hatch. You can cheer them on by peeping at them through the bator... Make sure to give them breaks !!! Is today actully day 21 ? or is it day 20 ? Whats the hum at now ??

Guess that would make knowing the hum hard, LOL !!! If you plan on hatching more eggs I would get one, makes it so much easier.... The hum will raise its self up also when they start to hatch !! And today is day 20 so everything seems to be going right. I cant belive they are hatching on time after all the moving and being cooled down for a while (would of thought they would of been late) goes to show eggs are more hardy than we give them credit for !! You should be so excited !! By tomrrow you should have babies !! Just keep the bator closed so you dont lose any hum !!! If you think its to dry in there you can add a wet sponge, you dont want it so high they drown but also to low will cause them to shrink wrap. I would say a little on the higer side would be better than lower.
