Ok, so I was just reading a thread, and noticed my screen was dirty, went to wipe it off, and I guess I hit some combo of buttons that made BYC take over the whole screen. No bars at the top whatsover. I have Windows vista on a compaq laptop. How do I get everything back without having to restart the laptop?

    TIA

    Strawberry fields.
Turn off your computer (just hit the power button). Then reload it. It should go back to normal.

Quote:lol, if compaq's tech is anything like dell, I might as well ask my 4 yr old [IMG] . We got rid of our dell after a years worth of headaches and resetting to manufacturer's default several times.

What browser do you use? Firefox, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome...?

Or, as FisherMom said, try hitting F11 first. If that doesn't work let us know. [IMG]

Quote:It worked, thanks so much. I knew I could restart it, but didn't want to waste the time. Now I know how to do it, there's been times I wanted the full screen. I'm so computer illiterate...lol.

Sometimes the ESC key will help for random screen issues, too (for example, if you have a DVD playing on your computer in full screen mode).
