HELP! I need help deciding the breed for my next chicken!

I already have a few bantam and birds that are more for show.. I would like to get a more "average" chicken next ( like one that lays average is normal sized and VERY calm and nice). I've been thinking about a golden comet or a Rhode Island Red but I've heard the Rhode Island reds may be loud and I don't want to disturb the neighbors. Can you tell me more about these breeds and any others you may reccomend?

I would highly recommend an Easter Egger! I now have 15+ breeds of chickens and they ar ethe friendliest and I know they lay daily due to the green/blue eggs!!! My orpingtons have always been excellent layers for me as well.
