Help, I picked up this adorable chick! What bantam breed?

The chick does resemble a Buttercup, but I don't see a buttercup comb. Ideal has many varieties of Old English Game bantam including one that has the same pattern as a Buttercup. I would guess it's one of those.

I agree. My guess would be OEGB. I'm not sure which variety. They have a lot at Ideal!

The legs would/should be a greenish colour and bird would not have a single comb if it was a buttercup. Legs look pink/white to me, which is what an OEGB should have

Okay, about five weeks later...

I think OEGB was right one, what you guys think? Also, cockerel or pullet? I have younger chicks that have redder combs at this stage, but "Buttercup" is very adventurous and assertive.

Wow, she DOES look like a campine! She's supposed to be a bantam, though, but she's already the same size as my Turken chick her same age. I wonder if she(he?) was mis-categorized.

I think she's probably a "Cream Buttercup" Old English Game Bantam.

Hi! So I'm very very new to 'chicken-ing' (LOVE IT!!!!) .... i have a question about Old English Game Bantams... because I think i might have one. Moneypenny's legs started out a normal chicken color but have since turned a greenish blue (freaked me out when i saw it... thought she had lost circulation to her legs- minor heart failure! no one told me chickens legs change color- or could!).... and she's black and white mottled... her comb is very small- almost non existent right now (about 6 weeks old) and yellow in color... I will try to post photos of her later... I just love her coloring! She is very inquisitive and talkative. Not very cuddly, but will come and eat treats from my hand. Are OEGB's the only breed that has greenish legs? I didn't realize there are SO MANY breeds of chickens! Wow!
