Help! I think I have too many roosters!

Can Someone tell what breed these chickens are? They are about 8 weeks old. And how many are hens? I'm pretty sure the mostly brown one (in the back is a hen, not sure about the others. But 2 of them have started crowing. Sorry for the bad picts, they didn't want to stand still. Thanks in advance for any help!

Wow. That stinks. All are males.

I can't tell about the brown one in the middle...but the rest are all cockerels.

They're not a breed, they're a "hybrid." They are a sex-link of some type...I'm assuming red sex-link. At birth, the males are born with white fuzz and the females born with brownish red fuzz. The sexers at the hatchery are able to tell the males from the females by the color of the down (fuzz).

Yes- it looks like you have a group of Red Stars. I'll trade you some Black Stars- and then we can both have too many roos, but at least they'll be different colors.

They're roos, except for maybe the brown one.
