Help I think I need to do an assisted hatch.

I was Incubating what I believed to be coturnix quails. I candled a few times throughout and thought I saw they were growing. got to day 21 Today and still had no pipping or movement. so we decided to open them up and see what went wrong. first two were non fertile. the 3rd one has a baby that is breathing moving but look small. we made about a cm hole in the shell and they are still in the sac. I quickly placed back in incubator but don't know what to do now. Can someone please help.

This is not going to end well.


How many other eggs do you have in the incubator besides this one with the hole in it?

There is no doubt that they are coturnix eggs.

Can you take this egg with the hole in it into a dark room, like a closet, and candle it and get clear pictures?
