Help I was up all night! My baby button thinks I am it's mother.

Great ideas. I haven't got a feather duster, but have a cute bunnie he hides under, but he still cries for me. The mirror thing I will try today.
He calms down when I am in the room with him and he can here my voice, but I can't sleep and talk to him all night.
During the day he sits in my chest pocket and pokes his head out every so often. I put some feed in there and he pecks around. I take him out every couple of hours and give him a drink of water - then he wants to go straight back in. He is so cute how he jumps up and down tweeting - trying to tell me "hey I am here, I want back in your pocket!"

Has anyone ever tried a recording of birds? Like on a cassette tape that loops? Seems like that together with stuffed animals and mirrors would simulate company.

If he is eating food in your pocket, I don't know if every few hours is often enough for him to have a drink.
I also don't know if he is eating enough.
At that age the amount of food and water they consume is critical to their development.
