Hi everyone,
I have 8 bantam chicks I am trying to ID as well as possibly guess gender. The chicks are between 4 and 5 weeks old. I tried to get pictures with combs when I could.
Please Let me know what you think!

Chick #1- Silkie (guessing male based on my luck!)

Chick #2- ???? (pullet?) bigger than most of my other bantam chicks and the only one with this style of comb. Also doesn't have very long/ prominent tail feathers

Chick # 3 Guessing an Old English but not sure (pullet?)

Chick #4 Old english ( color ?) ROO

Chick #5 old english or Japanese? (pullet)

Chick #6 I have no idea. This one is much larger (about twice the size of the old english chicks). Has a little bit of white on tip of wing (can see back of chick in photo of chick # 8)

Chick # 7 Grey Japanese ? (pullet) Hard to see in the photo but has some white lined feathers around the neck.

Check #8 Self blue? (pullet)

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!!! Thanks.

White Silkie, leaning towards cockerel.

With that comb, it almost looks like a Buttercup. However, the coloring looks off and bantam Buttercups are extremely rare. I'm thinking cockerel.

Looks like an Old English Game. Based on coloring, I'm thinking cockerel.

Black Breasted Red Old English Game, cockerel.

Old English Game. Thinking pullet, but not certain.

Are you sure that it is a bantam? Looks like a possible Black Sumatra. Pullet.

Grey Japanese, pullet.

Self Blue Old English Game, pullet.

Cool thanks for the input. I got these from Atwoods bantam bin so I was assuming they were all bantams. I will post update photos in 2 weeks.

**** UPDATE PHOTOS*****

As promised update photos. sorry some of the photos are a little blurry. My DSLR ran out of battery and i used the phone camera.

Chick #1: White silkie-

Chick #2: The buttercup?

Chick #3: Old english

Chick #4: BB Red Old english (The only one crowing and showing rooster behavior so far.)

Chick #5: Sadly I lost her to a predator.

Chick #6: Still unsure.

Chick #7: Grey Japanese

Chick #8: Self Blue

Chick #9: Silver sebright (I didn't include her last time cause she generally won't hold still and hides under my guineas)

The silkie is definitely male!! So is the self blue. My silkie rooster looked exactly like that. And my old self blue serama hen didnt grow a comb until 6 months? That grey japanese bantam looks like a pullet and so does the old english.

If that is a Buttercup, her comb will look like this

Or, later, this

I can't tell in the pictures. Enlarging on my phone just makes them extra blurry. If not a Buttercup, are there bantam gold Campine? They are similarly colored.
