Help ID These Mutts!

Yes, but as far as I know, if a blue egg layer crosses with a brown. The genetics of the blue layer like the beard will most likely take dominant and the egg will be green. Weird right? lol.

So lets see... Cross off chances of being a AM, EE AND SF...
Wow, you got ya self a large mystery!! Hm...
Let me think what other breeds there can be...

Do they have an extra toe? If any do have the extra toe it might be a faverolle mix most likely. My avatar is a male Faverolle.
Your first pic looks like it's a female, but Faverolle females are NOT black but they do have muff/beards. So with the beard/muff that is one indicator of a possible Easter Egg mixed with another chicken. EE chickens usually have a pea combs also. So the pics show bits and pieces of different chicken types.
Your headline called it right they are mutts. Usually those are the best natured animals, though.

Just so I have all the information in one place:
lays brown eggs
have a single comb
have a beard and muffs
don't have feathered feet
don't have extra toe
medium sized
(I'll post a pic of the eggs if it would help)

Okay... First thing's first; Thank you for putting the have's and don't have's together.
Second; I do agree with @titanRX8, I think you have yourself a mix.
Third; The mix most likely, from what I know, is a mix between a Faverolle and something else.

I know Faverolle, but I am sorry, I do not know the other half.
I hope I helped a little! Good luck with your mystery! lol.

Have a good night!
