I'm not sure when you can tell the breed and/or gender of chicks, but these three are five weeks old and I could really use some help with identifying them. Thank you so much!!! They've been living in the same cage as 2 khaki campbell ducklings but have recently been split up.

Lilly - loves the perch, likes to jump on the other chicks, has black spot on her leg

Millie - likes to challenge Lilly, but can't get up to the perch

Any and all help is really really appreciated!! Thanks :)

I don't know why but only the last pic is showing up for me.....she looks like a mix to me.

Never mind.....I got it to work by clicking on them. I'd say that all are mixes....Lilly looks like a California white though.

Yep!   Millie looks like a Mikie!  His comb is really big.

not so sure this is positive yet. Some breeds comb grows fast. I think the last two are cockerels and the white one is a hen, her tail is really long and the other two have puffs.

Lilly could be an exchequer leghorn, but I cant be sure.

the other two look cuckoo colored, but could be mixed.

They all look like mixes to me, though it will be easier to tell once they get past this half-feathered stage. Millie is definitely a rooster, but the others look like pullets for now.

Gerty has a huge beak! I wonder what mix she is! She reminds me of another cuckoo/barred chicken of unknown breed with a giant beak just like that!
