Help Identify my Exotic Chick *PIC*

Columbian Wyandottes are an unusual and attractive breed. They have the same deep, well rounded bodies and close set comb that the other varieties of Wyandottes have. They are medium size. They have a handsome appearance with white bodies and contrasting neck, tail, and wing plumage which are black with silvery white edging. Because of their nice yellow skin and plump bodies, they are easy to dress. They lay brown eggs. The hens make excellent setters and mothers. Their name comes from the 1893 Columbian Exposition in Chicago, which was the first and place that they were exhibited. The baby chicks are a creamy white and some have dark gray shading on the back.

Yes I did find that out that they do sell them I was miss informed from the Hatchery. At first I had never even heard about them so I looked them up and called them and asked they told me they don't sell them. So I called back again and the 2nd lady told yes they do sell them 1st lady must not have been trained very well of knowing what they sell. But they don't perfectly look the same as her chick!

Hi there! Waiting on my chicks from McMurray and can't wait to see what my rare exotic chick will be. Just wondering if you have been (overall) happy with the chicks you have purchased from them? I usually get my chicks in person from a local feed store and this is my first time getting them in the mail. Hoping for the best! If I were to guess what your rare one is (just based on lots of time flipping through their catalog) I would guess Anconas. It is super cute whatever it is!

Hi jhfamily5, I have been very happy with the chicks I have purchased through McMurray. All 27 of them arrived alive and well. I lost one because the little bugger jumped out of the brooder and apparently had internal damage and died not long after, I was so sad.
They are now in a brooder on the floor that's about 5' x 5'. they love it! I will buy from McMurray again. They came when promised and I called the PO ahead of time. They called me when the truck came in with them so I could pick them up ASAP.
Good luck with your brood, I hope they bring you as much happiness as mine have.

I will be taking his/her picture again tonight and I will try to get it downloaded to the site before Wednesday. He/She (I think it's a cockerel) has really feathered out nicely, they turned two weeks old yesterday. Thank you to all for your guesses, they are all really good guesses. As we all know it's sometimes very hard to tell what the chick is going to grow up to look like. Maybe we'll have better luck with the updated picture! Thanks again, everyone!

i guess i was trying to say i thought it was misleading because of the lack of white wings.....sorry
