Help identify these growths on roo's comb (pics)

Any idea? I have never seen this before.

Could that be his/her comb ? trying to be a comb.

at first glans I was thinking ticks.... I have seen tick infestations like this but inside my own horses Ears... IF you see legs you can coat them with vasaline and they will suffocate.

But if not it looks like Warts which actually is a viral infection.... they can be removed too working on the most intrusive first like around the eyes and nostrils... but it would take someone like a vet or a vet tech to deal with those. Unfortunately they grow back.

I would guess tumors, especially because of the Mareks problem. How long has it been there?

Do you have a lot of mosquitos around at night. Look into fowl pox although it does not look quit like that on more typical combs.

If the bumps peel off easily it's probably pox.
