It's a silkie roo about 7 years old.Is he a she ?
Could that be his/her comb ? trying to be a comb.

Hmmm. Could be. I will have to do some book reading today. Tonight I'll see if I can get a pic of the base of one of these things. And see if they come off.Karen, I had my resident pathologist (LOL) look at this, and he said to him it looked like a reaction to an infection of a virus (such as pox) or fu ngus
