That's strange. Where did you buy it? I want to order a couple of bottles. The expiration date is 9/2022 and I bought it last year. Wierd... California is usually the first to ban things.
With chickens, you can pull their wattles down with your fingers and their mouth will open, then the Equimax can be given orally as quickly as possible.DARN. I keep trying to give him the Equimax horse paste and he keeps shaking his head and wiping it out. I can't tell if he got way too much or nothing at all.
I believe it was Tractor Supply, I can't think of where else I could have found it. Some online stores still have it too. That's strange. Where did you buy it? I want to order a couple of bottles.
Yeah, I get it in his mouth but it's liquid so I think he shook it out. I did it 3 times so hopefully he got something close to the correct dose. With chickens, you can pull their wattles down with your fingers and their mouth will open, then the Equimax can be given orally as quickly as possible.
With a turkey poult, firmly pull down the skin under its lower beak and her mouth should open. I do the same with Easter Egger hens and young chicks at about 6 weeks old. Their mouth will open pulling down on the skin, gotta be quick to dose. Good luck.
I've never seen the liquid, only the paste.Yeah, I get it in his mouth but it's liquid so I think he shook it out. I did it 3 times so hopefully he got something close to the correct dose.
Hold off and wait for @Sue Gremlin . She is a Parasitologist and can tell us what's what.OMG. My poults have cecal worms, coccidia, and tapeworms all at the same time?
Can I treat for worms and coccidia at the same time? they already had corid water for all of last week (useless). one poult had a little bit of Equimax yesterday.
