EE's are bare legged chickens. Don't think I have ever heard of a feather legged EE unless it was mixed with something

Now if I could just get the little girls to start laying in their boxes rather then dropping from roost or around the house.

Have you tried putting dummy eggs (or golf balls or ping pong balls) in the boxes so that they know where they should go to lay? It took a minute to get one of my white rocks to lay in the box. She would get in the box make herself comfy and then lay the egg out right in front of it but she is laying in it now.

I see silkie mix roosters, and a white frizzle cochin hen, and a mille fleur cochin hen.
