Help identifying abnormal blob in duck egg

I’ve talked with a few friend that have chicken and ducks, no one has seen this, but they said that new layers often have odd eggs for a few weeks. This may have been her first egg, so maybe it was just something in her reproductive tract??? Her egg today was normal, except a thin shell.
