With the curl drake feather, the pekin looks to be male. Is the duck’s vocalization on the softer side, or loud??

He likes mud and water. He hasn't gone out in aroudn 2 weeks however because we put special compost on the garden and feared he would eat and get food poisoning. He quacks a lot and quite loudly.

No, he lived with a Muscovy, but the Muscovy passed away a month ago. We got a new duckling since then, also a Muscovy
