Hello,
Jayna is 7 weeks old and tiny- about the size of a starling. It's hard to get a good picture of her (?) since she's such a little fidgeter, but she's mostly black with gold at the centers of her head, neck, wing, and tail feathers. I think she may have a rose comb- she has at least 3 rows of little bumps forming- but I'm not very good with comb id. No reddening of her comb combined with her gentle nature make me think she's a hen, but she does lift her head and tail and make a dainty little trill when she's relaxed sometimes.
No breed/gender info at the feed store except that she's "assorted straight run bantam", the other two I picked out are both silkies.
Thanks in advance!
Amy
