Help! I'm looking for a dog breed that....

My parents aren't really a fan of the look that boxers have (I think that they're adorable, but oh well)
I have, a good friend of my mom's has one! I'll do some research on them.

We have a 4 year old boxer lab cross, and a 4 month old boxer mastiff cross, they’re both pretty energetic

I'd really love that, I'll bring it up to my parents as an idea.

That could work! My parents both work for my school, so we have full access to the fields there. We also have a very dog-walkable neighborhood.

I think that would be extremely easy to make it work then! Doesn’t necessarily matter where they exercise as long as they get that exercise in which it sounds like they would being able to run around fields!

Are rough collies too big for you?

My grandma used to own them and they'd get the zoomies every once in awhile, but the had such a calm nature. They'd be happy with weekly obedience classes and a daily walk or run in the field

plus they are great with small animals, and very quiet.

If they're smaller than goldens, they'd most likely be ok.
I'll look into them!

my rescue dog is agressive, has arthritis, skin issues, and etc

guess what? well bred pure breeds have none of those issues.

if OP wanted a rescue, they wouldn't be asking about pure breeds.

they are exactly the same height, just fluffier

Plus rough collies come in merle!

Yeah, honestly a Border Collie, Boxer, Vizsla, etc. are all horrible ideas! Definitely do not recommend that. Sooooo much energy, much more than a Golden. If they can’t deal with a Golden at their current place, definitely wouldn’t be able to with those either.

Vizsla

Vizslas look like weimaraners, which are FAR too energetic for us (my friend has two) so I've kind of been suspicious of them for a while
