Bobert does not look happy about having his routine disrupted or having his picture taken ... but he sure is a pretty boy!
He doesn't like his picture taken! his mummy likes me to take pics to send her while she's on vacation! so I take too many of him and his sis. But they love me coming over every day to feed them etc. they will have sweet faces in the window waiting for me ❤️ Bobert loves belly rubs 😻

Great news for Amara! Her bloodwork came back and her kidney values have improved significantly! BUN went from 92 to 65 (moderately elevated) and her CREAtinine, which actually went UP on IV fluids went from 3.9 to 2.8 (only mildly elevated).
That's great, congrats Amara! She certainly looks content ❤️

In memory of Lincoln, 2014-2026

Lincoln, our big purry boy, crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Feb 2 after a brief illness.

Lincoln, aka Linc, aka The Lincolnator, was not a lap cat and didn't like being held. He preferred pass-by attention, "I'll walk past you several times and you see how much of my head and back you can scratch". Sometimes you'd be blessed when he would flop down and offer his tummy for a quick scratch.
But mostly, he was always there, and just saying his name or a quick head scritch would turn on the rumbly purrs. And those purrs could fill the room!

He was the sweetest natured cat, never raised a paw against anyone. As one of the shyest cats I've ever had, he was rarely seen by visitors but the few that met him were charmed by his sweet personality.

Linc, RIP big purry boy, you've left a huge hole in our hearts. 💔

Yay, kitties!!! Finally, a place for cat lovers to actually do something with the bazillion cat pictures on their phone....

I hope you dont mind if I join in? I suppose first I should introduce the furry overlords

Our stately older gentleman(13) is Sheldon, (aka the furry potato)whom I caught playing pretzel kitty last night

And one of him looking a bit more distinguished because he is a sensitive guy and I wouldn't want to embarrass him by only including goofy pictures

Then we have Emmy Lou (aka noodles, aka nemesis, aka :barnie)...11 months old and deep in her bratty tween stage.

We are forever telling her that it's a good thing she's pretty because most of the time that's about all she's got going for her and a good thing we love her because that's the only reason she's still alive

One of their favorite quiet time activities, bird watching

And this last one is both a shout out to my grandkitty, Ranger, (now 9) who moved out with our son a couple of years ago (fortunately only about 10 minutes away so I still get to visit, and I babysit anytime his dad has to go out of town) but also to show why we decided to get Sheldon another kitten to raise. He helped us raise Ranger from about 4 weeks old when we found him abandoned and brought him home

As you can see, they fit much differently in the basket when Ranger first joined us....
