Also while not necessarily “yappy” per SS, they are quite loud and love to “talk” back, howl, etc. etc. which I don’t think would work.

Why? They’re great little dogs!

Mine is horrible! He has no prey drive, rather, he has a trash drive. Literally every second of his life revolves around food, and stealing it and trash. He once ate three quarters of a pound of ham and has a thing for tortillas and bagels.

To be fair, we're kind of used to that kind of food obsession with our past goldens and our close family's labs

If you don't have a secure yard, don't get a husky. ^^;;

Siberian Huskies have a high prey drive. Not good around chickens. I know from other people's experiences.

My neighbors dog has a husky.
Needs lots of activities. Otherwise it will turn to destruction.

This dog has escaped their yard I don't even know how many times. Probably like once a day. She ends up in the golf course pond.
She's killed a wild rabbit and probably lots other animals.

The needed up putting one of these things on her to keep her from slipping through the fence.

I'm sure this dog wasn't trained any nor does she get enough exercise.
She's really sweet and will drop at your feet and roll over for belly rubs but she gets out all the time and get into trouble.
