Edited. I did read that they are bantys, so they don't need the same space as heavy breeds. I have no idea what kind of room they need, but I do remember that it is less.

I would also wait until they are close to the same size as the other to mingle them together. Just seems safer that way.

Poly Vi sol (No Iron) At any super market or drugstore. For human infants.....but works wonders on birds too!

Wait until they are older please. I raise Bantys and our little guys need all the size they can get. They are also more susceptible to foxes coyotes dogs hawks opossums rats and lets not forget the OWL!!!!
It's their smaller size and the fact that they are still young and cannoy fly up in the rafters yet.
Good Luck!

OMG! I am new to chickens aand my DH is just now finishing up our coop and run so that I can pick up my 6 isa brown pullets next Tuesday. Where we were going to put the coop and run is a bunch of white clover! Is it okay at this age to do that? They will just be starting to lay. HELP!!!

I am amazed at this post, never heard clover is toxic. Have only heard it is good for chickens. My yard is mostly clover & I have given it to my chickens for well over a decade with no ill effects. I start giving it to chicks at about 4 weeks. Are these chicks getting grit? Hope you find the problem, good luck!

I read somewhere on this forum that cut grass was not good for chickens because they gulp down the whole thing, and if they get a lot of grass in their crop it can get impacted....???

But it's okay if they're cutting it off themselves because they're not likely to get as much or as long strips.
