Help!!!! Im thinking about puting a light on my coop!!!

I want to put a light on the out side of my chicken cop!!! Will this keep my chickens from going in there house at night? will they want to stay outside all night where the light is? Any input will be very helpful thanks.........

They'll possibly want to hang out outside the coop if there's light, especially if the light attracts moths... You'll have to see what they do and make sure they get shut in every evening. Maybe turn the light on after you closed them up?
