Help...Impacted craw? what do I do?

My lovely rooster Hawkeye is showing signs of not feeling well...when I looked him over I discovered his craw area is hard as a rock...arent they supposed to feel crumbly and loose? I tried to massage it but it is SOLID. He just acts puny and I figured this is why? Any suggestions on how I can help him?? Thanks in advance !! Mary Ann

I would take him to the vet.

I would wait until the evening when they go to roost. Then feel his crop and see if it's softer. It may just be full of food.

do a search on impacted crop or sour crop. You will find hundreds of threads on it. Good luck.
