Hey there! Ya girl needs to guidance
!
My Olive girl had a huge crop impaction last year and ended up having to have surgery(
) to remove the corn that had created a blockage. On Saturday evening I noticed her crop was a doughy feeling, but thought maybe she had just eaten a lot. Yesterday, I went out and checked her again and it had not gone down any. It’s feels like a hard, doughy ball and then when I massage it for a few minutes it feels like it adjusts or goes away and then she’ll move around again and it goes right back. I think she over-ate grit bc it feels like pebbles
. I am withholding food for 24hrs, giving electrolytes in water, isolating her and am massaging the best I can a couple times a day. She acts normal, feisty as usual and was eating normal.
What else can I do for my girl?? I don’t want to put her through surgery again unless she has to have it
!
