Will my SFH's comb turn red when she's about to start laying? She's a beautiful 5-6 month old pullet, and her comb is still very pale. Is this a breed like others with which I am more familiar where I can expect her comb to redden up as she hits point of lay? Thank you!

I would say boy personally. Silkie roosters have feathers that come off the back of their head. I have a white silkie roo and he looks almost identical.

This is Liberty at Twelve weeks she's now sixteen weeks and can't see a thing, she's going to get a trim. We put her crest in a pony tail and her hatchmate pulls it out.
