I have bobwhite eggs from our coop. I've tried a couple time to incubate and hatch a few with no success. The eggs develop, but the chicks don't hatch. Three have pipped, but didn't make it out. I could even hear them chirping. The other eggs I could see rocking, but, again, didn't make it out. I wait until day 28 before unplugging the incubator. What am I doing wrong? It's so heart breaking.
Incubator: still air
Temperature: 101 deg (though I've caught the temp drop to 99 or 100 at times)
Humidity: 55-60% (first 20 days), 65-70% (lock down).
