Help incubating with Genesis incubator-silkie eggs!

Shipped eggs should be kept "air cell up" during the incubation process.

So I should definitely go and get the upright turner from my tractor supply. Its a little giant - will it fit the Genesis? From what I read it should?

Check the measurement specifications for both to make sure.

Another option is using a styrofoam egg carton. You can tilt the whole carton, or shift the eggs within the carton (silkie eggs will likely be loose in a normal carton). If you tilt the whole carton, just do it a very small tilt. You don't want the eggs getting too close to the heating element. Then by day 8-10, the air cells should firm up, and you can lay them down if you want.
