HELP! Incubator quit day 26!

SHIPPED, ahhh OK well that explains a lot, so four babies with Shipped Eggs WOW NOT bad.  anything over half is excellent and anything less is good.  So your right there inbetween the good and excellent...

Wahoo I'm good with that!

By the way, do I need to monitor their water intake at all; specifically the ones that are doing great? They have a waterer in their brooding box and it is nothing they couod drown in but I thought I read somewhere that they could drink TOO much water in the first couple days so you should onky give it to them when they eat.

Much cuter on the outside of the shell

You don't need to monitor the water they just aren't allowed to swim, try holding off on swimming lessons for a week so they can produce there own oils. The waters should just be high enough for there beaks to get in

Ok thanks on the clarification on the water & swimming.

Twister & "Crook" are still separated from the stronger two but I think they are about ready to join them - they're acting a lot more energetic and better on their feet. Twister's naval dried up really nicely by the way. He's just so small, though - i hope he doesn't get beat up by the stronger ones as they were already being buttheads to him while everyone was still fluffing up last night.

Crook is showing much more control with his neck! When he's active he can pretty much hold it straight, but when he relaxes it just likes to topple over to the left, so probably just some muscle memory? They have both had good doses of vitamin B water, and I still want to give crook vit. E as well. Do you think olive oil would be ok since it has vit. E and good fat or is that a bad idea?

Okay

Twister is small PROBABLY because He is a She??  LOL

Haha, could be huh? The other three are about the same size. I do hope we don't end up with only one egg layer and 3 pesky boys this round!

They're adorable! So happy they all made it out, and hope those two "special" ones continue to improve with time. ^-^
