Thank you!! And the two special ones are definitely getting all the tlc we can give! Although we have to harness the well-intentioned but often over-stimulating tlc our little kiddos want to give them, lol

This was my first time incubating and I am so thankful for all the great info and helpful people on this site - pretty sure I would have had an awful experience if I hadn't had such a great resource! You're definitely in the right place welcome!

I don't have any ducks, but may add some next year. We did have ducks when I was a very small child. I am fascinated by the Call ducks.

I have a Splash Polish chick and a Golden Laced Polish chick right now. I have placed an order for 25 chicks and they will include Buff Orpington, Speckled Sussex, Silver Laced Wyandotte, Columbian Wyandotte and Salmon Faverolle chicks. I just ordered them, so no shipping date yet. I may hatch some in the future, not sure yet, getting these for eggs for consumption right now. My farm name is Blackduck, so I guess I really should have ducks (bg). I have bred and shown dogs since 1971, but haven't shown in the last 7 years until recently. I have a new pup, but don't plan on getting as involved in it as I used to be. I also used to raise American Shetland Ponies, but don't have any now. My Father raised and enjoyed his Bantam Cochins and Silkies in his later years, so I guess I am following suit by getting the chickens. I am excited about it. We still have to make our coop, but we have a structure that we feel we can turn into one fairly easily.

Call ducks are a challenge, if I was you, when you decide to hatch start off with chickens, get the feel first, then you can advance yourself to the Call duck Challenge..

LOL, that's about all I hatch is Calls, I let my girls hatch out chickens for me. LOL
