HELP! INJURED LEG!!!

Does anyone know what's going on here. And if he can survive it? Could there be treatment?After recently losing a hen, I am super paranoid. He is still eating, drinking, running, and crowing. So this is the only thing that changed. He is 3 years old. No one else has this and it is only on the right leg.

Is it spreading? How long ago did it develop? Is he senitive to the touch there?

It's hard to tell from the pictures, but it looks like it might be scaly leg mites? It's strange that it's just one leg. Do any of the others in the coop has similar issues?

No. It's also a little soft and warm to the touch.
