help! is floating house a good idea?

ok so i have i big problem. we are going to the beach in 2 months and my ducklings are not trained to go in by themselves. so we thought if we cant train by them then we would make them a floating house in the water. is this a good idea? and if not what should i do? also will it keep cyotes away? please help.

I've never talked to one person who said their ducks used it, besides snapping turtles, mink, otter, owl's, hawks, and raccoons could easily have dinner on the floating house.

You need to hire someone to come and put the ducks in their house each night and let them out each morning. Otherwise it's a crapshoot and one not favorable to your ducks!

Maybe pay a someone near you to put them in/let them out? I just checked my trailcam and these are currently stalking my duck/ chicken barn.
